It seems that big energy and the military industrial complex have
taken over our government. We should of nationalized all of them in
1941 at the outset of US involvement in WW2, in the name of national
defense. It seems that the people in those countries with nationalized
energy/oil are better off, less taxes and lower gas prices and better
social services and education. Their wages appear to be lower than
ours, but their costs are lower as well. Bush just can't stand seeing
a country like Venezuela with it's real democracy, and nationalized
oil and with a truly elected president who got a higher percentage of
the vote than Bush did, not letting in US based oil corporations or
any privately owned company buy up all the their nations oil
resources. Brazil has passed laws requiring alternative fuel
production and requires all new cars to be "green" cars or use ethanol
fuel and their economy is growing faster than the US economy is. You
will notice that the formerly nationalized oil in Iraq is now owned by
US or multi national oil corporations

The corporations have turned the American Dream into a real Nightmare
on Main Street. There is about 300 million people in the USA and
7.5 million of them are millionaires. Per this site

the people have most of the money. There are 230 million Americans
that are of voting age. An estimated 6.1 million can't vote because
of felony convictions or are in jail. Per this

10 million adults in nursing homes and mental illness treatment
centers who can't vote. There are about 150 million registered
voters per the federal governments web site. 2004 was a record year.
A record turnout for voters, 120 million voted. Where are the other
60 million? Don't they care anymore? Or are they too busy to
take an active part in our interactive system of government? Most of
them have become fat and lazy corporate robots and are willing to let
others make their choices for them. These fat and lazy voters do like
the one button voting system, and usually vote for whom ever their
owners/bosses say to vote for They need to move to China as well.
What these sheeple don't see coming is the major changes in their work
or job situation. More and more today you are not able to stay at one
company for 25 years and retire. It seems that the American labor
force and the laws that govern labor are just a burden on corporate
America. As is our laws that regulate or protect the environment. The
corporations have figured out a way to rob the employee's retirement
funds after they do several mergers and the following down sizing lay
offs of the workers from the weaker side or company involved in the
mergers. They will also file bankruptcy, then change the company
name, you loose your seniority or retirement points when and if you
start work again with the new company/old boss. If they don't make
enough of a killing there they will then move their factories or
operations overseas. Your job or career is down the tubes, along with
your retirement fund that ended up in the pockets of the corporate
management and the board of directors (dictators). They use the excuse
that they invested the retirement funds in a stock or false/fake
company that is set up by one of their group, that company went
bankrupt and the stock became valueless. It has become a Corporate
Monarchy. The royalty get bigger and better castles and carriages
every year. They have more money than a million people could spend in
a life time, so all they crave now is the power or control. They are
getting more of that everyday. The Bush administration even let's
them write the laws that regulate their corporations. Sort of like
putting Charles Manson on the parol board. I would like to write the
traffic safety laws and set the speed limits.

Our cost of living goes up every month with the ever rising fuel
prices. But our wages are about the same. An ever increasing number of
Americans live from payday to payday and are using their credit cards
to buy groceries when they find they have month left over at the end
of their paychecks. We need to stop making them richer while we go
bankrupt and become victims of corporate restructuring, mergers, and
false bankruptcies. The credit card companies and the banks were
allowed to rewrite the Personal Bankruptcy laws in their favor. And
their bought and paid for senators and congress persons lined up like
good corporate robots and passed the legislation. Are we doomed to a
life of corporate serfdom? Without any hope of doing better, just a
survival income from the 2 jobs you were lucky to get. Climbing the
corporate ladder has become a bungee jump off the World Trade Center.
This administration has allowed the oil and coal companies to help
write our new energy strategy. It gives over 15 billion dollars in
government incentives to oil and coal and only 1.2 billion for
alternative energy production. Bushes words don't match his actions.
This has become Bushes policy, to say one thing and do the opposite.
Or has it been his policy all along, and some of us have just figured
it out? He keeps talking about diplomacy and having negotiations with
other countries leaders. And then turns around and bombs them. Now he
is talking about using diplomacy with Iran. Iranians better run for
the bomb shelters! Bushes favorite tools of diplomacy are "cruise
missile diplomacy", "smart bomb negotiations" and "Invasion bargaining
chips". They must control the access to the oil and gas in that
region, and also control what currency the oil is traded with. It's
all part of their new energy policy.

They want to micro manage and control everything, every aspect of our
personal lives. It takes days and weeks to get decisions from the top
on sometimes life and death matters like hurricanes and floods. But
they will work day and night to figure out ways to spy on our every
communication such as phone calls, e-mails and even our library
habits. When we try to exercise our rights such as the First Amendment
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,
or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
The Fourth and Fifth Amendments "The right of the people to be
secure in their persons houses, papers, and effects, against
unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no
warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath
or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be
searched, and the persons or things to be seized." (5th) "No person
shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime,
unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in
cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia,
when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any
person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy
of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a
witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or
property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be
taken for public use, without just compensation." If you read it
carefully it says "no person" not just citizen. They seem to make
every effort as to hinder, to abridge, impede, or otherwise
infringe upon as many of our rights they can get away with, using
warrantless searches and or arrests, wiretaps, and the free
speech zones or public demonstration permits.

those type decisions in the blink of an eye. The actual saving of
poor Americans lives takes a backseat to their secret agenda.
It is said that they had intelligence reports that warned them of
pending attacks before 9/11, and took no action. But Bush INC was
sure to be out of town when it did happen. (conjecture on my part
here) Or was it just a big insurance scam by Mr Silverstein?
Who owned the WTC complex and it was loosing money because a lot
of the tenants were moving out. So he took out an insurance
policy that covered all acts of terror. And could it be that
Mr Cheney, a former executive of Haliburton, who in the past had
good business dealings with Mr Silverstein, such as the contract
Haliburton got to do the repairs to the WTC after the 1993 bombing
attempt. Dick was just the government inside man that could
order a stand down the USAF to allow the drone aircraft to
hit the buildings and the attack on the Pentagon was done just to
make it look like a terrorist attack. It could be a part of
a bigger plan to get total control of the last oil reserves on
the planet? At the expense of our tax dollars and blood.
When you control the only major source of oil you can control every
government on earth. It isn't just about money it's the control
they savor. It's like a fetish to them.

Why do you think China or Russia are even in the region? A blind
person could see this. I can foresee Russia or China moving forces
into Iran in the very near future. They may do it as a coalition
like what the US and UK did with Iraq, etc. We now have evolved
from "Lawrence of Arabia" to "George and Tony of Arabia". We are
feeding fuel to the fires of the old tribal systems that has been the
only form of government in the region for thousands of years before
the christian religion. The Divide and Conquer policy can also be
applied here.

When are these fools going to remember their history lessons? The
majority of the past offensive wars failed. Mostly due to the same
reasons, ignorance and arrogance on the part of the aggressor.
Doesn't Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolf Hitler ring a bell or two?
Take the plight of America's first citizens, the Indian tribes who
were already here when the white guys first came exploring. The
leaders of these supposedly civilized people couldn't handle the fact
that these godless heathens got there first. The Europeans tried to
buy them out with glass beads and trinkets. That got them an island,
and that was all the Indians were prepared to part with at the time.
I don't blame them either. Look at what white man has done to
this once beautiful land. The Indians were here for many
thousands of years before the white man, and did very little to
disturb the environment.
You could drink the water from every river, lake and stream. The
European refugee's have been here only 514 years, and today if
you were to drink the water directly from many of the rivers,
streams or lakes, you will get sick for sure and your kids will
be born with toes at the end of their arms, their nose over their ear
and one eyebrow. Here is a good example of genetic mutations: most
politicians were born with a foot in their mouth.

Most of the forests have been laid to waste for profit, and the
wild life exterminated for sport and profit. The natural water
sources have been polluted for the sake of industrial progress.
Mountains have been leveled to extract the minerals or coal and the
surrounding ground water has been polluted. Didn't the christian bible
say be good Stewards of the earth? It seems that part has also been
forgotten or left out as well. You either follow the book or
throw it away. Don't call me a heathen or demon until you first take
a look at yourself and make sure you are 100% perfect, without sin.
I don't disrespect any ones choice of religious beliefs, just don't
be a hipocrit. Jesus would be considered the first hippy and a
socialist. Everyone has the right to practice what ever religion they
want to, it doesn't make any one religion more right than another,
it's equal rights for all. Which means you can't legislate the beliefs
of one religion on people of another religion, there will be no
state religion, the Constitution AKA Bushes coke straw, says that. The
book says you have to desire or want to follow this god. You can't be
forced to do it. Not compelled to by acts of violence or force of
arms and or the threat of same.
I am prone to agree with the principles of being fair to my fellow
human, respect gains same respect. Respect is not the same as
agreeing with them. It's just to except them for who they are. It
doesn't mean I am joining their religion tomorrow. It is so much
easier to set examples than to make them. It's like parents
eating junk food, while telling their children to eat their
vegetables. Yes, I am using parables. I have studied the bible. It
has it's points to be made. But I am a bit skeptical, it was still
written by men. It has many points where it contradicts it's self.
It has been edited by Kings who didn't want to loose their power. The
Celtic bible that King James had destroyed and replaced with his
version. It didn't let the king do as he pleased, nor did it
recognize or have a need for a central government or a king. And old
Jimmy couldn't stand that, he would have to get a real job, wouldn't
get to torture and hang people for speaking out against his policies,
now that would be a down right sin now wouldn't it. This book was
put together using old stories passed down by word-of-mouth, over
several generations, and at times roughly translated at the fire
sides into several different languages using comparisons to the
latest technology of their time and education levels of the talesman
and that of the listeners as well. As time went by these stories
have had some embellishments added to make them more exciting or
attention getting. You could start such a story about a mouse in a
gym locker and pretty soon it's about a herd of elephants loose in
the city streets. It's a law of human nature to make the tale taller
each time it's told. The basic ideas are good, to love your neighbor
as much as you do yourself, to care for the less fortunate, to
help your fellow human up when they are down . These values are
not included in the present president's policies. His top priority
is to make everyone who doesn't agree with his policies out to be a
boogie man or a member of the Axis of Evil. "You're either with us or
against us".

These terrorist we are fighting now are of our own creation. They were
once our freedom fighters in the war against the USSR in Afghanistan.
Everyone remembers those Rambo movies, propaganda films. I bet those
Ruskies are sitting back and laughing at us saying "I told you so,
comrade". The British are total fools, didn't they learn anything from
their last failed attempt to control that region back in 1917 - 1920,
and some tries during the late 1940's to help the Jews take the land
from the Arabs. It seems that the French might of learned something
from their past failures there. It may be easier and cheaper to
buy them out than it is to control them at gun point. "A happy man
makes a better neighbor". I am not sure who used that line before
this. But it sure rings true.

Our immigration and trade problems with our southern and northern
neighbors could be solved with one single action. Put the currencies
of all 3 countries at an equal value for trade and labor purposes
between the legal citizens of the 3 countries. For the trade of
goods and services from each. I would love to work winters in
Mexico and summers in Canada. Si, oui, yes. A mobile work force.

Yes there are improvements that can be made in our ever evolving or
changing system of self-rule we like to call a Democracy , that is
open to change. Each part of the whole must be taken into
consideration before any changes can be made part of the whole. It is
safe to say this was not even in the minds of the sharks and
want-to-be dictators who wrote the Patriot Act, and on the members of
the senate, house and the white house, who passed it because of it's
catchy name, they didn't even read it. This reeks of a witch hunt to
say that "it was the patriotic thing to do, and it would be Un
American to vote against it". These words came from the mouths of
members who haven't read it either. How could they pass such judgment
without reading the bill. They who first said those words are the real
traitors, they used a moment of semi mass panic, fear and hysteria.
There were very few good points to this bill, (act of treason by our
government) were ever brought to light in any kind of debate. Most
only had a couple pages of summary of the over 600 page document, to
read a few highlights and then make an "informed vote". Nor was the
Constitutionality of it was ever checked or questioned except for a
few, who read it and voted against it.

One of the basic principles of the Constitution is that the people
are always first, all equally. Regardless of their station in
life, race/color, sex or creed. Democracy defined means the people
rule or self rule. Not mob rule. If that's the case? When the
approval ratings of the present administration in the white house
should drop below 50% for more than 5 days, they should all resign
their offices, and the closest loser of the previous election takes
office and must remedy the failed policies.
Our system of government was setup to ensure that all the people have
a voice in the government, this in turn truly puts the people in
control of their own destiny. Not leaving it in the hands of a few
self-righteous greedy people. When you put your Kings wishes over
those of your god(s), throw away the religious books and bow to the
king. We need a real ballot box revolt, "Just say NO to the STATUS
QUO" could be the slogan, maybe even make a bumper sticker for it.
